St. Albert Christmas Past, Present and Future (150th Jubilee Project)

The proposal for this project is to select 150 stories from Christmases past, 150 stories about Christmas present (how Christmas was celebrated in St. Albert in 2011), 150 Christmas Songs (past, present and about the future) 150 comments about how Christmas might be celebrated in 2061.  If your organization celebrates Christmas and/or would like to participate in this project, please send an email or link to Info@factsnet.org with info on your celebration

if the stories are relevant to the history of St.albert then it would be a great idea. christmas should be celebrated with the grand old traditions, church and love from the whole family around you. if you can see that becoming to be a tradition then you could be in for something great. Oh and don't forget the lovely gifts. we as a community should always respect the history of the town and how it became so great. St.albert is the wisest and the greatest community in this area.

This project is very important to the community of st.albert and its history. Although our group did not have any references to christmas it will be good for st.albert

A 2051 Christmas:
Christmas could be very different. Maybe it won't be called Christmas. Maybe it will only be about presents, not Christ. Maybe everyone will get high tech stuff for Christmas. Maybe instead of children thinking Santa comes through thechimney, thewill think that her teleports himself into their home or something weird likethat. Maybe Santa will be a robot. Maybe at Christmas people will watch Holiday Fireplace, and it will be real.YOu would actually feel the warmth of the fire.

Christmas is a very important season: it brings people together with their families, and it reminds us of events from the past. If this blog could serve to reinforce Christmas customs, and help people to celebrate Christmas in a more meaningful way, then this blog would be a worthwhile project.
